Description: The Udo garden chair is intended for professional use on restaurant and hotel terraces and in cafés, ice-cream parlours and restaurants. The aluminium frame is light and corrosion resistant, so the chair copes with daily rearranging and with outdoor conditions. The seat and backrest are strung with Batyline technical mesh, which is breathable, dries quickly and keeps its shape even under intensive use. This version has a non-padded mesh seat, without a cushion. The chairs are stackable, which simplifies clearing away at the end of the day and off-season storage. They can be used outdoors and indoors.
Materials: The frame is aluminium protected with an epoxy powder coating that is applied electrostatically and cured at 160–200 °C; the surface resists impact, scratches and corrosion. This version is finished in alucolor 42 Nero Nero (black). The seat and backrest are made of Batyline technical mesh in the Dama (TP11) pattern: the mesh is waterproof, washable and resistant to stains, mould and UV radiation, and it is easy to clean. Both the aluminium frame and the mesh are 100 % recyclable. The seat cover and the glides on the legs are replaceable. For maintenance a soft cloth with water and a mild detergent is enough; do not use abrasive pads, abrasive cleaners or solvents. The recommended operating range is -20 °C to +60 °C.
Certificates and standards: Outdoor furniture for public use is assessed against the EN 581 series of standards. EN 581-1 sets the general safety requirements for outdoor tables and seating (stability, sharp edges, entrapment points), while EN 581-2 covers the strength, durability and safety of seating, with the tests carried out according to the methods of EN 1728.
