Clooods 3S modular three-seater, 3 seats, 247 × 91 cm, beech frame, removable washable covers
Description: Clooods 3S is a modular three-seater for hotel rooms, lobbies and lounge areas. It is made up of two corner armchairs of 91 × 91 cm and an armchair of 65 × 91 cm, joined by double hook-and-loop fasteners inserted between the frame and the seat cushions; the joint holds even when the set is laid out as a bed. The elements are moved without tools, so the layout can be adapted to the room and changed at any time. The sofa stands on legs, which makes vacuuming underneath easier and suits underfloor heating. The Clooods collection has received four international design awards.
Configurations: The same elements allow three configurations: a three-seater of 247 × 91 cm, a bed of 187 × 91 cm with an armchair of 91 × 65 cm, and a two-seater of 182 × 91 cm with an armchair of 91 × 65 cm. The changes take three to five steps and no tools. Because the product is handmade, dimensions may vary by up to ±3%.
Materials: The frame is made of beech wood and the seat rests on a solid wooden panel, upholstered with high-resilience foam, a silicone wrap and an inner layer of black felt. Handmade in the EU. The covers are fully removable and machine washable at 30 °C, and are also available separately for later replacement. Six fabric groups are available (Alure, Icon, Mollia, Phoenix, Velare and Astra) in 37 colours. The legs come in two heights, 17 and 21 cm, in a light or dark finish. The product is intended for indoor, dry and heated spaces; place it on a level surface and at least 1 metre from heat sources.
Certificates: The materials used come from certified sources. The wood-based panels used in the product are tested to CARB ATCM Phase 2 and EPA TSCA Title VI, US regulations that limit formaldehyde emissions from wood-based panels and set maximum permitted indoor air emission levels. The polyurethane foams are certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, product class I, the strictest class of the harmful-substance testing system, covering products suitable for babies and toddlers. The cover fabrics are certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, product class II, which covers products in direct contact with the skin. Part of the collection is made from recycled polyester obtained from used PET bottles; the fibres are certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0), which verifies the recycled content as well as traceability and the social and environmental requirements across the entire supply chain. The fabrics comply with the European REACH regulation, which governs the registration and control of chemicals on the EU market, with regard to substances of very high concern (SVHC).
