Ila Wood PEDRALI armchair, without headrest, polyurethane shells, Ø 40 mm solid ash legs
Description: The Ila Wood armchair is designed for hotel lobbies, reception and waiting areas, lounge spaces and office reception zones. It comes without a headrest, at a height of 90 cm, so it does not block sightlines across the room and can be placed in the middle of an open area or next to low tables. The outer shell is rigid and forms a rounded, enveloping volume, while the inner side of the backrest and seat is softly upholstered and adapts to the body. The armchair stands on four legs in solid ash of 40 mm diameter that tie the soft seating volume to a timber interior. Delivered disassembled. Design: Patrick Jouin.
Material: The outer shell is in moulded rigid polyurethane foam with a density of 500–600 kg/m³ and the inner shell in moulded flexible polyurethane foam with a density of 40–60 kg/m³, covered with fabric. The internal frame is in powder-coated steel. The legs are in solid ash, finished with water-based paint in a matt, anti-scratch finish (5 gloss), with visible open grain. The glides are in felt, suitable for delicate floors such as wood, ceramics and marble. Made in Italy.
Certificates and fire safety: The product is FSC® certified. Both polyurethane foams are fire-retardant, class 1 IM. Production is certified to ISO 9001 (quality management system) and ISO 14001 (environmental management system).
Variants: The cover is selected from the manufacturer's fabric collection, categories C83–C89, C100–C101, C110–C122, D40–D44, E, G, G180–G185, H40–H53, N (excluding N20–N27) and P. The legs are available in several ash finishes. Check the current colour chart and fabric sample book for available combinations.
