Sumi 1550 armchair, cold-moulded polyurethane foam shell, swivel metal base
Description: The Sumi 1550 armchair is designed for hotel lobbies, reception and waiting areas, lounge spaces and office reception zones. The seating shell is shaped as a single rounded volume in which seat, backrest and armrests flow into one another without visible breaks. The low-back version, 87 cm tall, does not block sightlines across the room. The swivel metal base allows the seat to turn without moving the armchair, which is useful in waiting and conversation areas. Design: Edi & Paolo Ciani Design.
Material: The shell is in cold-moulded polyurethane foam, upholstered and covered to order. The base is in metal, swivelling. Made in Italy.
Covers: The cover is selected from the manufacturer's fabric and leather collection, spanning price categories A to E and P. Outdoor fabrics are also available. Check the current fabric sample book for available combinations.
